History
This is where it all started. My first website. I started it in
the summer of 1995. I wish I had a screen cap of what it looked
like then, or maybe I don't. I cringe when I think about all the
annoying GIFs and color combinations I used. It was pretty horrific,
but that's to be expected. It's been a growing and learning experience.
Versions
After a while I learned some html and started to explore different
layouts. Version 1.0 was back when I was discovering frames.
I've got to say I love those frames. I also used cute little pictures
for the buttons. And after a while I started using mouse over
techniques.
Version 1.0
Version 2.0
was a much more simple and professional layout. I was getting
tired of the cute icons. I made a switch shortly after I started
college, which is a big part of it. It was the first time I'd
really used a lot of tables in the overall design. And now I'm
addicted to them as well. The Version 2.1 cap shows another
feature I'm addicted to and that is the pop-up window. They work
so well for my photo galleries. I like the structured and organized
of this layout but, overall it was too boring for me. I don't
think it was a good representation of my personality, which is
what I think it should be.
Version 2.0
Version 2.1
Which
leads me to Version 3.0. This has been my overall favorite.
This site brings together all of the various tricks and things
I've learned over the years. I think it really shows some of the
styles and trademark things I have developed.
Version 3.0
Version
4.0. was created because I started having too many pictures
and they were all unsorted. The main reason for my site was sifting
from informational to photo album. So I wanted a really simple
and quick loading site. I also reorganized all my pictures by
dates like they are now. But I got tired of that layout too.
Version 4.0
Which
brings us to Version 5.0. I like this layout because i
can change the picture and adjust the colors to give a fresher
look w/o a whole make over.
